Emergent Studios led the report design and infographic development for IUCN's Protected, Conserved, and Heritage Areas Team on exploring the potential for socio-ecological productive landscapes and seascapes (SEPLS) to be recognized and reported as other effective area-based conservation measures (OECMs). The project also built out an interactive StoryMap of the report focusing on key concepts from the report to increase accessibility and engagement.

The project aimed to strengthen the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) members’ understanding of OECMs, and, in doing so, support the alignment between the IPSI Strategy and Plan of Action 2023–2030 and GBF Target 3. The design of both the report and infographics focused on ensuring content was approachable, accessible, and engaging to a diverse audience.
